Having fun trying out some food photography
Feel really pleased to have won this with my photo of caterpillars on a hedgerow in Suffolk
Had a truly amazing day at the Tower of London. wasn't expecting to win as such brilliant images. Off to take photos of squirrels and dream of bears…..
Got that email that makes your week !! I'm a finalist and I have crossed my fingers and toes that the judges choose my photos.
Part of my prize from the Natural history museum was to spend a day with one of their scientists. It was an amazing day taking photos and learning how to study flies. We caught them in big nets and sucked them into 'pooters'. So many different types....great day.
Awards night at the Mall Galleries in London for the Pink Lady food photographer of the year.
Came first in 11-14 age group with my first ever food photo. Great goodie bag including a salami !! An amazing night.
Got my Padi and tried underwater photography in Belize. Amazing but really tricky. Learnt a lot from Bertie Gregory, who gave me tips before I left and used my Olympus TG3 although my best shots were snorkelling rather than when diving, as I m not good enough at diving yet to keep neutral buoyancy and need to concentrate on whether my air is running out ! Going to keep trying.
using time-lapse camera and this little guy visited
I waited for an hour. Nothing came. when I went in there was an earwig on the kitchen floor... looks like thats as good as its going to get in wildest london today.
Getting my prize from Chris Packham in the Tower of London at the RSPCA young photography awards 2014. Great day.
